Changed my mind about firm/insurance choices

May 2020

I received an offer of BBC, which was changed to unconditional, from Liverpool John Moores to study Criminology, which I put as my firm choice, with Criminology with foundation year at Salford as my insurance choice. Due to circumstances at home changing, I now want to attend Salford more and study just Criminology, for which I received an offer with grades of BBC but didn't put as my insurance as the grades were initially the same as John Moores. Can I apply to Salford through Clearing for the three-year course even though I have an unconditional offer from another university? Can I change my insurance choice?

You can contact Salford and ask them if they would consider you for a change of course when you get your results. Make sure you get an agreement from Salford before declining the LJMU offer.
